Budget NAS PC Build 2026

This PC build is designed as a cost-effective solution for a Network Attached Storage (NAS) system. The Intel Pentium Gold G6405 CPU, while basic, is perfectly adequate for handling file transfers and basic NAS tasks without consuming much power. Its low TDP of 54W makes it ideal for an always-on system where energy efficiency is a priority. The integrated Intel UHD 610 graphics mean no dedicated GPU is needed, further reducing power consumption and cost.

For storage and system responsiveness, a 500GB Kingston NVMe M.2 SSD is included. This provides fast boot times and quick access to frequently used files.
